The International Association for Suicide Prevention (IASP) is dedicated to preventing suicide and suicidal behaviour, alleviating its effects, and providing a forum for academics, mental health professionals, crisis workers, volunteers and suicide survivors.
Attend our uniquely designed hybrid conference, in person or virtually.
9th IASP Asia Pacific Conference.
Alongside the Taiwanese Society of Suicidology, we’re delighted to be hosting #IASPTAIPEI2020. It’s never been more important to share suicide prevention efforts. Our uniquely designed hybrid conference will transform how we work together with an interactive platform, live-streaming and recordings accessible to all who register. Hosted by Professor Ming-Been Lee, the IASP 2020 Asia Pacific Conference has a packed programme. The keynote speaker is Venerable Sik Hin Hun, a Buddhist monk. His main interest is in ‘repackaging’ the Teachings of Buddhism for today’s world with a focus on psychotherapy, neuroscience of meditation, Buddhist education and personal growth. With over 10 plenaries from experts across the region and worldwide and a closing keynote by IASP President Murad Khan, this is a conference not to miss.
